Bills are personal. We collect the minimum, protect it carefully and delete it when it's no longer needed.

What we collect
- Account data: email, display name, coarse location (city) you choose to share.
- Bill documents and the details you enter about them.
- Sponsorship and payment records (from our payment provider; we never receive card numbers).
- Security data such as sign-in times and hashed IP addresses, used to prevent abuse.
How bills are handled
- Originals are stored privately and accessible only to you and authorised reviewers, with every access logged.
- Public previews are generated on our servers with personal and payment details removed.
- Medical bills are treated as sensitive and receive stricter redaction.
Your rights
You can access, correct and delete your data, and withdraw consent, from your account settings or by contacting us. Some payment records must be retained for legal and accounting obligations; these are pseudonymised.
Retention
Original bill documents are deleted 90 days after a listing closes. Closed accounts are erased except where retention is legally required.
